Beginning Sketching Course
In this course students will learn the very basics of sketching, including shapes, lines, values, and texture. Building these basics is essential for drawing, shading, and sketching, and can build to more advanced pieces to further express artistic intent. Students in this course will also combine these skills to create basic compositions, and there are a total of 5 lessons/sessions. It is recommended for students 5-7 years of age.
Advanced Sketching Course
This course is intended for students with a more advanced knowledge of sketching and for students 8-12+ years of age. If a student younger then 8 years old believes they are ready to take this course without taking the Beginning Sketching Course, please mention this when you sign up. There are a total of 4 lessons/sessions, and it will include more complex values and composition building, as well as applying prior sketching basics knowledge into drawings.
Art-Psychology Course
In this course, students will learn about art-psychology, which is a field of psychology that focuses on the cognition and perception of art. Students will gain knowledge about color theory and its connection to emotions, as well as, a better understanding of themselves through various art-therapy exercises. Previous knowledge in psychology or art is not needed for this course and there are a total of 4 lessons.

Please note: for the Fall 2021 enrollment, there is ONE course, which will consist of beginning sketching and elements of art-psychology
